This is original e-mail message from Pigi:

One issue using EMU APS Driver with a SBLive card is that  you must use A/D converter to connect analog source, and D/A converter to ear any output.

Live Drive II give one analog input and one analog out (and more perhaps).

Analog input is Line in 2/Mic in 2 (A3 & A4 in APS Mixer), this input work ONLY if a Jack is inserted in Headphone output.
There's an hardware switch.
I'm sure that software can control this and more switches too, but HOW it's work ?

Line in 2 is Stereo input with gain control turn off (You must hear click). If you use gain control, input become MONO, and you can connect only one Microphone.

Sound is on the headphone out.

You can route physical output in the Master output strip to:

Analog out 5+6 (Multi-out) => Live Drive JP4 on 2-3 (see fig.)
Digital out 1 => Live Drive JP4 on 1-2 (see fig.)

APS Driver V 1.1 Works only using JP4 on 1-2

I think that it's possible use digital input (Optical and SPDIF) on Live Drive like SPDIF 1 and 2 and SPDIF IN on the Live card like CDROM.
Can someone try it and report ?

For now is all. Good Luck

No solder, no iron, but a lot of patience!!!
