It's been a while in the making but here at long last are some of the links I've been hoarding, the sites that taught me what little I know about making homepages, including inserting and finding the graphics I want for them. It seems like such a small task but (as you may have found yourself) there's just SO much out there!

      Once you've found a place to start your little graphics scavenger hunt the fun begins! Since you already have links to some of the best free graphics sites right in front of you, all you need to know is how to capture them and save them on your computer. For those who already know how, please don't groan too loudly, this is NEW to some of my visitors. It really couldn't be simpler, simply put your cursor (that little pointer doohickey) over the image you want, right click and choose "Save Picture As". Since the image already has a name all you have to do is pick the place where you want to save it. To make it easier to find pictures of certain types it might be best to create different folders for different types of images (such as backgrounds or buttons). Go ahead! Try it with the little dancing fairies at the top of this page.....See? Easy isn't it?

      You're now well on your way to becoming a graphics wizard! Of course the next step is a little more daunting, but I know where you can get all the help you need making and inserting your new-found images into your homepage. Now you need some  HTML help.
