My final decision has been to keep the Cabinet, Chassis, Uniselectors and Capacitors and strip down the rest of the machine. The Relay bays have been replaced by Vero board and will contain all of the processors and switching.
I have been working on the 1st Power Supply for the machine. It consists of 4 x YUASA NP7-12 batterys to give me 48Volts nominal @ 7A. This is small, but it will give me a good starting platform.
The Charger for these batterys is based around a uA317 regulator, and acts as a constant float.
I plan to complete the supply today (sunday 7th Feb), and then start on the ringing plant and tones.
Unfortunately, the plan didnt work, and i blew up the regulator..... will have to start again on that section.
