Whats new?

4/11/99 Sanded all the paint off one side. Used $25 Black and Decker 1/3 sheet sander with 60 grit paper. Worked great! Also got my Playstation wired in to Player 1 using same method as Saturn. I used the 4 buttons plus R1, R2. These are the default controls for Street Fighter EX plus a. I will be adding more Pics soon! (I promise!)

2/17/99 Added a section about how to wire the video. Under the "How to Build One" section

2/15/99 This weekend I got video from my Playstation in the cabinet. Had to build a small circuit using an LM1881 to generate a sync signal from the NTSC composite video.

2/15/99 (Noticed I was still using 1998 for dates, its fixed now)

2/2/99 I am reorganizing the How to section for better flow. Removed the guestbook because it never worked. Added 2 or 3 more pics.

1/26/99 Added Pics!

Controls

Well, as of now, the cabinet has a player 1 joystick with a 6 button Capcom layout. Player 2 doesn't have any joystick or buttons yet. It won't be installed until I can find a 1 1/8" hole saw (no one seems to sell them in that size!). The other side was done with a 1" hole saw and the holes were too small and had to be enlarged with an x-acto knife. That took quite a while to do. I also need to buy a second Saturn game pad.

Side art

I have revealed all of the Joust side-art on the right side and have started sanding on the left side.

Inside

The Saturn sits inside it right now.

Other

Things are going a bit slow because I am job hunting currently. When I find one that pays more than my current job, I will put pictures of the cabinet on the website.

Future

Some things going to be done in the future are: Player 2 controls, restore the Joust side art on both sides, wire pc controls to console, and add Playstation support.
