| Chocolates First Christmas |
It was Christmas Eve and Chocolate Teddy was getting all excited. He knew that Santa was due to call in and leave some presents for Jenny. Santa was a good friend of Chocolate and he was looking forward to seeing him again. Jenny was safe all tucked up in bed and sleeping the dreams that all good little girls dream of. Chocolate looked over at her and she was still. Chocolate very carefully stood up and stretched. OOOOHH He was stiff. It was a hard life being a Teddy Bear sometimes, having to keep completely still so that the people never realised that Teddy Bears were really alive. Chocolate walked over to the window and looked out at the bleak landscape. It was all quiet and the ground was covered with a deep covering of snow. The moon was shining down and he could see everything clearly. Suddenly he heard a jingling of bells in the distance. Straining his neck chocolate peered out of the window hoping to see Santa. WHOOMP and there was a slight shudder that ran through the house. Chocolate new what this ment, it was Santa landing his sleigh on the roof of the house. With a rustle of robes Santa suddenly appeared in Jenny's bedroom. His big red face had a huge smile on it and seeing Chocolate he let a quite laugh. HO HO HO HO!!! | ||||||||||||||||

"Well Well If it is not my friend Chocolate. And how have you been doing my little friend?" Chocolate was too scared to say anything and just sat there like a Teddy Bear. Santa was too busy to be bothered with this so he just chuckled and got on with filling Jenny's stocking with lots of toys and goodies. Meantime Chocolate was watching Santa and a gleam came into his eye. Without stopping to think Chocolate jumped down, ran across the room and jumped right into Santa's sack. Inside the sack it was all dark and musty. At first Chocolate was all excited but very soon he was feeling rather cold and frightened. The sack lurched and bumped and Chocolate was knocked all over the sack, bumping into trains and dolls and all other sorts of toys. Soon the Sack was dropped with a thud and the top of it was opened. Chocolate saw this large head peering down at him. It was Santa. For a few seconds they just stared at each other and then Santa threw back his head and roared in laughter. HO HO HO HO HO HO He went and it was a few minutes before he could speak. Eventually he said " Well Well Well Young Bear I never expected to see you quite so soon again." So saying Santa bent down and picked up Chocolate in his large glove covered hand. He smiled at him and said " Isuppose you just wanted to see how I deliver all thetoys EH!!" All Chocolate could do was to nod his head. "Very well then," said Santa, " I will take you with me and I will return you to Jenny before morning" All that night Chocolate sat beside Santa on his sleigh and kept him company while he flew all around the world delivering toys to all the children. When the night was over Santa true to his word dropped Chocolate off at Jenny's House and with a promise that if he was a good Teddy all the next year he would take him in his sleigh next year. | |||||||||||||||||
