The way I use this tool.
When Planning a flight, I first find the beginning and ending
station identifiers from the
list of 20,000 + World Cities with Latitude / Longitude and Airport Identifiers

Next, I use the
Global Route Planner

The Global Route Planner  will give you a detailed printout of suggested routes.
Just tell it where to start, how long you want your longest flight legs to be and
your airspeed.  It will do the rest.

The Global Route Planner will then give you a detailed report, with
your navaids, weather reports, wind and compass headings, estimated
time enroute.  It will also have links to maps of your route of flight
that you can click on and print out for your flight folder.

Then, you click on the Maps, and print out maps of your route of flight,
click on the weather, for official (non-official) weather.

You can also use the WEATHER UNDERGROUND, which is something
neat and new.  There are links to cameras mounted on rooftoops around the
world.  You can see the weather through the eye of a camera at your destination.

Last, you can go to other weather sources such as infrared satellite reports,
official FAA Weather Maps, for the fine tuning and final planning.

  •  Use the Global Route Planner Click Here
  • 3. It will get your Weather
  •  Use the Global Route Planner Click Here

  • Try the UNDERGROUND WEATHER (Cameras on Rooftops Worldwide Plus Day by Day History into the Past....Excellent for flights into Cold Climates
