You should get a copy of the ATC CLEARS tape from Sporty's
and practice the clearance shorthand until it is second
nature.
Normally, it takes 20-25 hours to get you to the point that
you can pass the flight check, plus an equivalent amount of
ground school.
You will be expected to devote at least 8 hours/day
to the project for ground and flight traning.
My goal is to make you into a competent instrument pilot
who can handle the airplane under normal and emergency
conditions, not just pass a flight check.
During the cold months November to April when icing conditions
are likely to occur, in the northern
half of the US, I recommend that we fly south where the
weather is better and stay at a motel. This allows us
to concentrate directly on the job at hand and keeps
us away from day to day business distractions.

Courtesy Deposits will be delivered on 72 hours notice up to
$5,000,000 for approved projects.
Fees: 3% per annum. Our fee to secure these funds, negotiate the rate for
your banker, and have them wire transferred to the bank of your
choice as a "courtesy" to your banker on your behalf is 3%
of the amount of the deposit per annum.
The overall interest rate of the money deposited in your bank

Interest rates your bank will pay on the Certificates of Deposit
which are purchased are quoted based on a competitive basis.
Generally this is slightly higher than treasury bill rates. Call for a
current quotation as these rates change daily.
