Sharing a printer
Start Windows 95 on all machines. On the PC with the printer attatched, go to control
panel, double click printers. Single right click the icon for the attatched printer.
Select sharing and change to 'Shared as'. Give the printer a name. My printer is simply
called 'CANON" as it is a BJ 10. This will allow others print to this printer.
On the other machines that wish to use this printer, you will need to start Win 95, go to
control panel, double click printers, and select 'add printer'. This will present you with
a wizard. Select 'Network Printer'. You can use the 'Network Neighbourhood' icon to find the
printer. The path may be \\pc1\CANON. Thats it.
