Cop attacked, hurt

AMBALA, Jan 14 - A policeman was injured when he was attacked by few persons late last night.
The incident took place when the policemen on duty had flagged down a scooter for checking. A few minutes later, a Maruti car had arrived. The persons sitting in the car attacked and injured the policemen.
Meanwhile, the area police has recovered 4,200 country liquor pouches from a truck in Ambala cantonment.
The police intercepted the truck on the Jagadhri road late last night and seized the liquor pouches. A case has been registered against Sahib Singh, Sunil, Sanjay, Rajesh and Rakesh.
