Cash looted from gas agency

Kurukshetra, January 5
Five armed persons looted Rs 74,494 from a gas agency yesterday evening near Gurdwara Sixth (Chhati) Patshahi here, the police said today. The robbers came in a green Maruti car and parked it about 100 yards from the gas agency. They snatched the amount from a woman employee of the agency after putting a pistol on her head and escaped. A motor cyclist, who tried to chase the robbers, was fired upon, leaving him injured. — PTI
