Gun-wielding dacoits strike near Pinjore

PANCHKULA, JAN 25: Just one day after the dacoity in Manav Colony near Saketri, as many as 10 dacoits armed with pistols, struck at a residence in a colony near Pinjore, about 8 km from here. The incident took place at around 1 am in the morning today. The dacoits decamped with goods and cash worth almost Rs 1.5 lakh. Police sources added that the house was the residence of five eunuchs. The dacoits, all Harynavi-speaking youths, broke into the house and ransacked the house while holding everyone at gunpoint, according to Nirmal, one of the residents.
