Former CRPF jawan held

A former CRPF jawan, who later was declared a proclaimed offender, has been arrested here in connection with five incidents, including murders, the police said. Superintendent of Police (SP) Sukhdev Singh said here yesterday that Raj Kumar, a resident of Kakroli Hatti village in this district, was arrested in connection with the five incidents in late nineties. The SP said Raj Kumar was posted at Ayodhya and was arrested earlier in 1991 in connection with three murders, which he committed with his service revolver during his posting at Ayodhya.
