Rs 70,000 looted from bank

Karnal, February 4
Unidentified persons looted Rs 70,000 from a local bank this morning. Armed with automatic weapons, they entered the Kunjpura road branch of Canara Bank and looted Rs 70,000 at gunpoint. The branch manager of the bank and two other employees of the bank were present at the time of the incident. The head cashier of the bank was not present. The police has registered a case.
