Rs 72,530 looted from bank cashier

Three unidentified youths are reported to have looted Rs 72,530 from the cashier of the Central Bank of India’s branch at Ghasauli village, about 20 km from here, today.
According to police sources, the miscreants forced their way into the bank around 1 p.m., went straight to the cashier and asked him to hand over the cash.

The miscreants looted the cash totalling Rs 72,530 at gun point and asked him to hand over the key of the strong room, but he declined. Thereupon, panic prevailed in the bank and employees raised the alarm. The miscreants fled towards Pabnera village. The police arrived on the spot and started search for the miscreants but failed to apprehend them.
