One held for stealing motor cycles

Ambala, February 8
The police here nabbed a person for stealing 24 motorcycles from Ambala,
Yamunanagar and Kurukshetra districts. Superintendent of Police, Ambala, M
Ravi Kiran said today that the police parties had been sent to other places
to arrest other five members of gang. He said Harnek Singh of Kesri village
who was arrested by the Barara police disclosed that all members of this gang
belonged to Ambala and they stole motorcycles and sold them at Chandigarh,
Patiala and Delhi. Harnek the police said admitted that they had stole more
than 50 motorcycles. Harnek told the police they stole the motorcycles in the
evening and conceal in sugarcane fields. At night they carried motorcycles
either at Patiala or Delhi and sold those there.
