Bid to loot businessman thwarted

With the arrest of five armed youth, the Rai police today claimed to have foiled their attempt to loot Mr Anil Sabharwal, owner of Sabharwal Food Industries, on the G.T. Road, about 20 km from here, last night. Superintendent of Police Paramjit Singh Ahlawat told mediapersons here on Thursday that the youngsters have been identified as Parveen alias Ballu, Mukesh, Babloo, Bhagwan Dass and Parveen. The aforesaid were residents of Kundli village. The police, he said, recovered knives, iron rods and fake guns from their possession.
