Voyeurs thrash cop

(Rohtak, January 15)A Police Constable was thrashed by about a dozen people at a Circus in Bahadur Garh on Tuesday when he tried to prevent them from peeping into the circus girls' dressing room while they were getting ready for the noon show of the circus.

According to the police, the constable, Maan Singh was on duty at the circus at around 2 p.m. on Tuesday when he saw about a dozen youths peeping through a small opening into the tent of the circus girls who ware changing for the show.

Annoyed by the constable asking them not to peep they thrashed Singh who sustained injuries on his head and hands. The police booked 11 persons in this connection under section 148, 149, 186, 332 and 353 of the ILPC and arrested 5 of them — Babloo, Lalit, Ajay, Sande and Rajesh.
