FIVE BOOKED: The local police has booked five persons in connection with the murder of notorious criminal Mahabir Singh Kanwari. A police spokesman said here on Tuesday that the police had registered the case against Umed Singh, a former sarpanch of nearby Juglan village, and four others under Sections 302, 341, 148 and 149 of the IPC and the Arms Act on the complaint of the victim’s brother, Dhoop Singh, a resident of Kanwari village.
