Times of India, January 24, 2002 Chief of fake currency racket held KARNAL:
The Karnal police claims to have arrested Kasim, the kingpin of an interstate
gang involved in printing and distributing fake currency notes in Haryana,
Uttar Pradesh and Delhi. The police also recovered Rs 1,450, in fake currency
notes from Kasim. He was produced in court, on Tuesday, and was remanded to
14 days of judicial custody. Karnal SP PK Aggarwal, told the Times News
Network, that investigations had been launched and raids would also be
conducted after Kasi's interrogation. |
