15-year-old girl gang-raped

A 15-year-old girl was allegedly gang-raped by four youths at Harsana Khurd village, 5 km from here today. According to a report, the victim had gone to the fields when she was raped by the accused. Before fleeing the accused threatened her with dire consequences, if she tried to narrate the incident to her family. She returned to her home and narrated the incident to her parents. Two of the accused Ram Krishan and Bhola are residents of the same village. The parents of the girl lodged a complaint with the Sadar police station in this regard. The girl was taken to the local Civil Hospital for medical examination which confirmed the gang-rape. The police has launched a hunt to apprehend the culprits who are still at large.
