The need to promote 'Dharma' that enshrines the family values, the Sanskaras, in society leading to healthy development of law abiding citizens is the call of time. The brutal murder of innocent citizens with unparallel cowardice reflects current state of affairs. Mrs. Madhu Manjari Sharma and her son, Master Aditya, were murdered, while her husband, Shri Vidhya Dhar Sharma, and another child, Master Vikas, were seriously injured at their home on the night of July 31, 1997, in Karnal (Haryana). Master Aditya, born on February 20,1985, along with his mother sacrificed his life while bravely defending the family. Both Madhu Sharma and Aditya were battered to death with iron rods and sharp edged weapons in most cruel manner by the professional criminals.

Madhu Manjari Sharma was born on March 28, 1958, in the family of Dr. R. K. Sharma (Former Professor and Head, Department of Extension Education, Haryana Agriculture University, Hisar) and Mrs. Kaushalya Sharma of Ballabgarh. Madhu belonged to the first graduating class of 'Home Science' (1978) of Haryana Agriculture University, Hisar and obtained 'Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.)' degree from Kurukshetra University (1979). Mrs. Madhu Sharma was deeply spiritual and strongly believed in family values based on the practice of 'Sanatan Dharma'. Master Aditya, born on February 20, 1985, was a grade six student and was known for his leadership among his peers.

The commitment of such heinous crimes in the Indian society is in contradiction to non-violence and traditional values of 'Sanatan Dharma' held over centuries and simply reflects endemic corruption, lawlessness, injustice and loss of moral Vedic values at this time. The promotion and practice of 'Dharma and Vedic Philosophy' in the society would lead all to peace, prosperity and happiness.

The family of Mrs. Madhu Sharma has set up a registered 'non-profit' charity with support from extended family and friends to promote the 'Sanskaras' in the community that Mrs. Madhu Sharma held dear to her heart and in memory of the exemplary sacrifice made by dear Aditya while bravely defending the family. The Foundation aims at promoting the brahaminical family and societal values enshrined in the 'Sanatan Dharma' and 'Vedic Culture' that form the basis of a civilized society.

The Foundation invites support from all, individuals and institutions alike, interested in promoting those values that help create a better society for generations to come (maasfffv@gmail.com).

In loving memory of Shrimati Madhu Sharma and Dear Adtiya...

    Only cowards sin...brave men never.
