Jeweller robbed

KAITHAL, July 31 — Two persons looted jewellery worth Rs 1.25 lakh and Rs 10,000 in cash from a goldsmith near Pansawan mohalla, at pistolpoint, last night.
According to information, Anil Kumar, partner of a firm, Silver Palace, was going to his home after closing his shop at about 9 p.m. when two youths riding Hero Honda motor cycle without registration number stopped near him. One of them got down from the vehicle and asked the address of someone. He then pointed the pistol at him and snatched the bag and fled on the motor cycle.
This is the second incident of looting in the town during a week.
