Goonda Elements Sparks Riot in Sonepat
Panipat: Law and order has taken a severe setback in Panipat. Yesterday full-fledged riot took place in the whole town.
In the guise of students, the whole platoon of criminal elements carried out their gundagardi in various markets even as the common junta watched with terror and dazed amazement.
Apparently the riot had taken place in reaction to a violent fight between two volatile student groups. But instead of displaying any real anger, the ruffians were busy using the opportunity to cart off the consumer goods from the shopping malls.
Meanwhile administration has closed all the schools and colleges for the next two days even as the whole town is now under Section 144.
But the question is how come this loot continued for full two hours. What the police was doing? Has anyone got any answers?
