Liquor king murdered

GURGAON, July 25 — Famous district liquor king Sunil Malik (36) was murdered this morning at 10.30.
According to information available, Mr Malik was partner of M/s Mahakali Wine Co and was on his way from his Pataudi residence to Gurgaon in his Maruti car No HR-26/J-0787. After he had covered a distance of about 10-12 km from Pataudi and reached near Jamalpur village a Maruti Zen came from behind and overtook Sunil's car and stopped him. Sunil Malik was alone at the time of the incident.
As per sources Malik and his assailants talked to each other and shook hands also. Suddenly, one assailant started firing at Sunil. He died on the spot. The assailant whose identity is still unknown then went towards Pataudi.
