The Tribune, January 24, 2001 SIRSA ILLICIT LIQUOR: As many as 13 persons have been arrested for smuggling illicit liquor and 'lahan' and a large quantity of illicit liquor was seized from them. Giving this information, the district police chief said the police arrested Jagga Singh of Theri Mohan Singh and seized 200 kg of 'lahan' whereas Kantu Singh of Surtia village, along with 11 others, had been arrested under the Excise Act. |
