Kidnapped man rescued from well

Sonepat, January 12
A man was rescued alive from a well three days after he fell into it on the Sonepat-Rathdhanna road, about 7 km from here today. According to a report, the man, identified as Bhopal from Almora (Uttaranchal), was in a semi-conscious condition. He was immediately hospitalised and is progressing well. It is suspected that he was kidnapped and pushed into the well beating him up. A youth, Amit of Rai village, heard the man crying while he was passing near the well. The police have started investigation into the case.
