Husband kills wife

Sonepat: A young housewife, Mrs Manju, was allegedly killed with a sharp-edged weapon by her husband, Sudama(30), at Ridhao village, about 15 km from here yesterday. According to a report, the alleged assailant also took sulphas tablets. Though he was immediately hospitalised, he passed away during the course of the treatment. The alleged assailant suspected his wife of having illicit relationship with another man, which was the main cause for the tragedy. The police have registered the case. OC
