Minor girl molested in Jhajjar gurukul

(Rohtak) A girl studying in Class VIII at a 'Kanya Gurukul' was molested in her hostel room by two intruders on January 21 night at Lova Kalan under Bahadurgarh Sadar police jurisdiction in Jhajjar.

According to the police, the molesters also threatened to kill her. On the victim's complaint, the police have registered a case under sections 354, 452, 506 and 34 of the Indian penal code (IPC) against the alleged culprits, identified as Bijender and his cousin Bholu alias Amarjit, and started investigating the matter. The victim stated in her complaint that she was asleep in her hostel room with four other girls when two youths barged in and tried to molest her at around 1.30 a.m. One of the accused even threatened to kill the victim with a pistol if she raised an alarm. The duo, however, fled when the other girls in the room started shouting for help. Bijender and Bholu are still to be apprehended.
