Nephew kills uncle

Sirsa, January 6
A man was killed in Dhani near Sikandarpur village in the district today. It is suspected that the man was killed by his nephew, who allegedly had illicit ties with his wife. According to information Makkhan Singh, a resident of Dhani near village Sikandarpur, had turned out of his house, his nephew Puran Singh whom he suspected of having ties with his wife. According to a complaint lodged by the brother of the deceased, Makkhan Singh and Puran went to the fields last night. When they didn’t return till late in the night, Makkhan Singh’s brothers Kashmir and Charanjeet Singh went to look for him. They found his body in a pool of blood. It carried marks of injuries from a sharp-edged weapon on the neck. On their complaint the police has registered a case under Section 302, IPC.
