Panipat witnesses several incidents of violence despite police patrolling

The district witnessed several cases of murder, rape, abduction during the last 24 hours despite intensified police patrolling.
A 20-year-old youth of village Ugra Kheri, Navin, was shot dead by some unidentified criminals today morning. He was running a video lab on the Sanoli Road.
According to information, an eight-year-old girl of Nepali origin, whose father is working as chowkidar in a factory near Bichpuri, was raped by an unidentified person. In another incident, an employee of a soap factory at Samalkha was robbed of Rs 10,000 at pistol point by three youths last evening. However, all the miscreants were arrested within hours after the incident. A dhaba owner near village Baholi was looted of Rs 2,000 by two unidentified youths.
A 22-year-old youth Mukesh alias Mahender Singh of village Kurar was been abducted by some unidentified persons last night.
