Man slits wife’s throat

Gurgaon, January 24
In a fit of anger, a husband today killed his wife by cutting her throat and both hands with a sharp weapon. According to police sources, Mahender Singh, a gardener by profession, was at home at Gurgaon village in the morning today. A close relative came to the house. While Mahender Singh, his wife Laxmi and the relative were talking on some personal issue, all of a sudden the discussion heated up and both the wife and the husband started arguing loudly. Mahender Singh took his grass cutter and hit his wife. When Laxmi protested the attack and raised her hand, Mahender cut her both hands. Afterwards, he cut her throat with the weapon. OC
