Panipat man murdered

PANIPAT, Sept 4 — Krishan Joshi, (21) brother of the city President of the Shiv Sena, Mr Sahdev Joshi, is reported to have been murdered by a group of miscreants near Balmiki Mandir on the Sanoli road here last night.
It is learnt that Krishan was returning to his home after celebrating the Janmashtami festival when he was intercepted by a gang of miscreants. During the altercation that followed, he was severely beaten resulting in his death on the spot.
A report was lodged with the policy and after preliminary investigations, it booked Raju and Pala, residents of the local Tehsil Camp. Other accused have not yet been identified.
