Passengers drugged: Four passengers, who were travelling by the Delhi-bound Kalka Mail, were found in an unconscious state in a bogie at the Ganaur railway station about 16 km from here yesterday.
According to preliminary reports, on being informed by some passengers, the railway police took them out of the bogie at the Sonepat railway station and sent them to the local civil hospital for treatment. According to the police, some criminals had given them drug-laced biscuits near the Kurukshetra railway station in a bid to loot them. The railway police has detained four persons for interrogation in the case.
This is the first such incident reported on the Howrah-Kalka Mail on this section.
