Petrol station attendant shot at

SONEPAT, Aug 16 — Vinod, an attendant of Batra petrol station, was injured when a car-borne youth fired shots at him and looted Rs 5,000 from him before escaping yesterday.
According to preliminary reports, the petrol station is situated on the GT Road near Ganaur Chowk, about 20 km from here.
The injured youth was rushed to a private hospital at Ganaur from where he was shifted to the Sonepat Civil Hospital.
On receipt of information, the police sealed the area. The police forces of UP and Delhi were also alerted. However, no arrest has been made in this connection so far.
