Four police officials held

KARNAL, Jan 3 — The Karnal police today arrested four police officials, including Inspector Om Parkash, for the alleged murder of Naresh Kumar — a resident of Kattabagh near here. The others arrested include Head Constables Satbir and Mr Ram Swarop and Constable Vinod Kumar. The officials have also been suspended. According to officials sources, all of them were arrested under Section 304-A of the IPC. Their arrest follows an inquiry by DSP Ratan Singh.
It may be added that Naresh Kumar died in police custody following his arrest by the Karnal police last month. The Kashyap 'biradari' had been seeking the arrest of the guilty police officials.Phoolan Devi MP, led a noisy demonstration against the police and blocked traffic her.
