Cashier robbed of Rs 6.5 lakh in Gurgaon

Four unknown assailants robbed Rs. 6.5 lakh at gun-point from a company's staff returning to their factory in a Jeep after withdrawing the money a bank in on Tuesday morning. Vipin Kumar, cashier of Dominant Offset Printing Press, withdrew Rs. 6.5 lakh from Canara Bank, Gurudwara Road for the staff salary. Vipin was accompanied by driver Rajbir and clerk Jagdish. After crossing Sector 5, when they reached the road linking Sector 5 with Palam Vihar, an Esteem car overtook them and forced the driver to stop the vehicle. Two youth armed with a country-made revolver came out of the car and demanded cash. One assailant took out the bag containing the cash from the jeep. They soon ran towards Delhi with the booty.
