The Tribune, January 30, 2001 Robbery bid Tribune News Service AMBALA, Jan 29 - There has been a bid to snatch a briefcase containing cash, in front of a bank at Ambala Cantt. At about 12.30 pm when two employees of a local factory alighted from their vehicle, they were accosted by two youths who were carrying knives. The youths demanded the briefcase. However, the factory employees held on to the briefcase and raised an alarm. The youths had to escape. |
