Thefts continue in Sonepat

House burgled: Thieves are reported to have broken the locks of a house in Jain Bagh Colony here last night and escaped with the gold ornaments worth about Rs 80,000. House owners Gowardhan along with his family members had gone to some other town to meet his relatives. As the neighbours informed him of the theft, he immediately came back and lodged a complaint with the police in this connection.

Cassette shop looted: Thieves are reported to have entered a VCD player and cassette shop near the CRZ Senior Secondary School here last night and decamped with goods worth several lakhs of rupees from it. According to a report, the shop owner has lodged a complaint with the police.
