Burglaries

Ambala
Three incidents of burglaries were reported at Ambala Cantt last night. In Kabari Bazaar, burglars broke the locks of two shops and took away cash lying in the cash box. In Machhi Mohalla, also thieves broke into an electric goods shop last night and took away cash from there. In Sarafa Bazaar, around five burglars attempted to break the locks of two jewellery shops. The burglars tied the watchman of the market with ropes and tried to break the shutter but they could not succeed. The police today morning visited the shops. Separate cases have been registered. TNS
