Thefts in Ambala and Hisar

AMBALA
STOLEN: A Maruti van was stolen from Mahesh Nagar. The five-seater white van (HNA 8462) belonged to Mrs Gita Surpal. The van was parked in front of her residence. An FIR has been lodged.

HISAR
THEFT: Cash amounting to Rs 8000 and goods worth Rs 4000 were stolen from a general store at Mayar village on Sunday, Udhesh Kumar, owner of the store, informed. The thieves entered the shop by breaking open locks of the front gate.
