Trader abducted

SONEPAT: Kashmiri Lal, a trader, was allegedly kidnapped by two car-borne persons armed with pistols from his shop on the Sonepat-Murthal road here on Monday morning.
According to a preliminary report, Mr Kashmiri Lal was busy cleaning the shop when a blue Maruti car without a numberplate stopped there. Two armed persons got down from the car and forced him to accompany them at pistol-point. Thereafter, they drove the car towards a road leading to Dewru village.
Police got the information and began tailing the car. They made little headway. They are still combing the area.
