3 shot at, injured

Three persons sustained bullet injuries when they were shot at by car-borne miscreants on the G.T. Road near Bahalgarh Chowk, about 10 km from here, today. According to a report, the injured persons were identified as Krishan (40), Dinesh (33) and Sonu (21). All the injured were rushed to the local Civil Hospital for treatment where the condition of Krihsan was stated to be serious. All the car-borne miscreatns, however, escaped. Krishan along with his brother-in-law Dinesh and brother’s son, Sonu, was approaching the G.T. Road from Chauhan Joshi village and the car was being driven by Sonu. When the car reached the G.T. Road near Bahalgarh Chowk, the miscreants sitting in the car, fired shots on them. Some eyewitnesses noted the car number and informed the police about it.
