Cash and goods worth nearly 2.2 cr were stolen in 5 incidents in the town during the past 24 hours. Thieves stole household goods and jewellery worth Rs 1.25 lakh from a house at HUDA sector 1 here last evening. Thieves scaled the wall of a house of a bank manager and decamped with cash, jewellery, VCP and a computer. None of the occupants of the house were present at the time of incident.
