Two youths rob wheat trader

ROHTAK, Nov 7 — A wheat trader was allegedly deprived of Rs 3.5 lakh by some unidentified youths near the Bajrang Bhavan locality here on Thursday.
According to the complaint lodged by the trader, Mr Vinod Kumar Goel, a resident of Hisar district, two youths who were standing outside a shop near Natraj Hotel on the Delhi road at about 7 pm on Thursday allegedly decamped with the bag containing the cash from the counter of shop, when he had gone to a toilet near the shop.
He claimed that he had told the shopkeeper and two others to keep a watch on the bag during his absence. When he returned back the two youths who were standing there took the bag and fled. He said the accused were not known to him.
The police has registered a case under Section 420 of the IPC against the accused and investigating.
Meanwhile in another incident three unidentified armed robbers snatched Rs 2500 and a truck from the driver and his helper near Bhali Anandpur village on the Rohtak-Bhiwani road about 25 km from here yesterday. According to the complaint lodged by Dayal of Barwala town in Hisar district three youths armed with pistol and some sharp-edged weapons stopped their truck near Bhali Anandpur village. He alleged that the miscreant beat them and took away cash and the vehicle.
The police has registered a case under Sections 392, and 394, IPC, against the accused. No arrest has been made.
