ALLEGED: A 50-year-old woman of Babanpur village has lodged a complaint of rape and assault against the father of her daughter-in-law, Gurvinder Kaur, and three others. She alleged that on Friday her daughter-in-law's father, Sukhdev Singh, and Sukhdev's brother and son, Darshan Singh and Jagtar Singh, came to her residence where they assaulted and raped her. She also alleged that they looted gold ornaments and Rs 7 lakh. A case has been registered.
