Bodies of child, woman found

A WOMAN and an infant were found dead at a place between Kalanaur town and Lahli village, about 20 km from here, on Monday.
The police found the bodies of a woman, in her twenties and that of an infant, about one-year-old, near the Rohtak-Bhiwani Road. Although the bodies could not be identified, it is believed that the dead woman was the mother of the infant, whose body was found lying in close proximity with her.
The Kalanaur police have sent the bodies for post-mortem, and are making efforts to get the bodies identified. Investigations are on.
