Yamunanagar, February 17
A 19-year-old youth stabbed his sister-in-law to death after the latter refused to establish physical relationship with him.
As per police sources, Seema, (24), was stabbed several times by her brother-in-law Mukesh last evening. She was taken to the Jagadhri Civil Hospital from where she was referred to the PGI, Chandigarh. She died at the PGI last evening.

Seema got married with Naresh, a labourer working at a brickkiln about eight years ago. The marriage was against the wishes of Naresh’s family. Two elder brothers of Naresh got separated from him after the marriage. His younger brother, Mukesh, was, however, staying with Naresh. It is being alleged that on several occasions in the past, Mukesh tried to outrage the modesty of Seema. Seema had reported the matter to her husband and the latter had asked Mukesh to desist from his activities. On Tuesday, while Naresh was out, Mukesh tried to outrage the modesty of Seema. The incident was again reported to Naresh. Mukesh again tried to molest Seema yesterday. When Seema objected to it, Mukesh allegedly stabbed her several times. Neibhbourers came to the rescue of Seema and took her to the General Hospital in a serious condition.
