The Tribune, March 2, 2000 Sadhus looted Tribune News Service AMBALA March 1 — A group of sadhus at a temple near Shahbad Markanda river were looted late last night.The sadhus were tied up and then robbed off a gold ring, Rs 2,600 cash and other goods. One sadhu of the group managed to escape and he called the police. In the scuffle, a policeman was injured and he was referred to Civil Hospital, Mullana.While one person was nabbed, the rest of the gang managed to make a get away. HISAR March 1 - Woman raped: Three persons allegedly raped a married woman in Kapro village in Hansi subdivision of this district on Tuesday. She alleged that Raghubir Singh Guga and another person forcibly entered the house and raped her. The police has registered a case under Section 376 of the IPC. No arrest has been made so far. |
