Woman raped, 2 accused absconding HT Correspondent (Rohtak, January 7) A WOMAN was raped in Gugaheri village in Meham sub-division of the district,on Friday allegedly by a youth of Meham village. According to reports, the victim had gone to the village sugarcane fields to work. When she was working in the fields, a youth, identified as Bhoja, allegedly raped her. The culprit threatened the victim with dire consequences if she told anyone about the. The victim, in her complaintnamed Birender, another youth from the village, the watchman of the fields. She said he was also present when she was raped. The Meham police have registered a case against the culprits. A man hunt has been launched by the police to arrest the accused who are now absconding.
