YOUTH BEATEN UP: A youth was beaten up and taken away in a vehicle by a group of youths on Monday morning. The youth, Sachin, was waiting at the bus shelter near SD College along with his friend Sukhwinder. Sachin studies at a computer institute. Suddenly, a group of youths in two vehicles came to a halt. The youths beat up Sachin and then he was forcibly taken away in a vehicle. Later, it was learnt that Sachin was dropped near Saha and he had gone back home in Bihta village. The youths, who are believed to be hailing from a village near Ambala Cantonment, are yet to be traced. Sachin was later taken to Mullana for medical check-up.
